In the last update, we asked you to leave a comment and let us know why you backed the campaign - what feature of the product helped you make the decision. Thank all of you who generously shared your feedback. It sounds like "pass through charging," "charge up to 5 devices" and "built in cables" are the most popular mentions. Since we are close to the end of the campaign, we are in contact with the manufacturing company again so we can start production as soon as the campaign finishes. Our manufacturing company is a German owned factory based in Shenzhen China that specializes in high quality power bank manufacturing. They have been a great partner in helping us produce the functional sample units for campaign video & photo shoot, as well as for sample testing. The behind the scene story was, after we shot the video with the first batch of the products which incorporated most of the features we currently have, we discovered that we could make the power bank charge even faster and make it even smaller, so we decided to delay campaign launch, made a second batch of samples, shot the images with the new samples and launched the campaign with the end date just before thanksgiving week. We couldn't have done this without the help of our manufacturing company. They have always been reliable and never missed a due date. Our Just Simple Power Bank is in good hand with them. Below are a couple pictures Lang took when he was visiting the manufacturing company last time.

Pass-through Charging Demo Video & Question for you

Dear Backers,
We posted a product demo video in our previous update and received very positive feedback! Many backers followed up and requested another demo specifically on pass-through charging. We asked another tester to make a quick video about that specific feature. It is now ready to view here.
We are pleasantly surprised to learn that some of you backed the power bank solely because of the pass through charging capability among all our innovative features! As you know, Lang and I came up with the idea of the Just Simple Power Bank 6 months ago. We spent 5 months to finalize the design, find a reliable manufacturing company, produce two iterations of samples for testing and customer interviews, get ready and eventually launch the Kickstarter campaign. You had made all of our efforts worth it.
